Michele embarked on her flying career as an instructor, going on commercially to fly turbo prop and jet passenger aircraft.

She worked with British Aerospace in the design of technical ATPL courseware.

Whilst flying commercially, she continued designing and presenting technical courses.

She has experience of potentially catastrophic aviation emergencies; e.g. engine failure; she received commendations from her airline.

In 2009 Michele was called to the Bar, and further qualified as a Mediator. She practises from KCH Garden Square Chambers in Nottingham. Her sensitive yet robust handling of matters results in professional and lay clients regularly requesting that she continue to act for them.

She brings her wide-ranging and in depth expertise in aviation to Consensus Aviation – our unique co-mediation aviation team with Iain Goldrein QC.

Personal:

  • Michele has 2 teenage children, and a golden retriever [in that order].
  • Her interests include fishing and walking in the Outer Hebrides, where she has a home.
  • She is quoted as saying that the the drive from Nottingham to the Outer Hebrides in mid-winter is nothing to the experience of landing a Fokker 100 into Helsinki in snow and temperatures of -15 degrees C.
  • She is passionate about cars, and anything to do with flying.
